Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to purchases made on the Decor House marketplace platform (www.decorhouse.in) and should be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies of Decor House Retail Technologies Private Limited.

1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • Customers may request cancellation of an order before the order is shipped by contacting Decor House customer support or through their account dashboard, where applicable.

  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, the customer may initiate a return subject to the Return & Refund Policy below.

1.2 Cancellation by Decor House

Decor House reserves the right to cancel an order, at its sole discretion, in the following situations:

  • Product is out of stock or unavailable

  • Pricing or product information errors due to technical or typographical issues

  • Suspicion of fraudulent, bulk, or suspicious transactions

  • Incomplete or unverifiable customer information

  • Failure to complete payment or payment verification

In such cases, the customer will be notified and any payment received will be refunded as per the Refund Policy.

2. Return Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Returns

A product shall be eligible for return only if:

  • The return request is raised within the return window mentioned on the product detail page

  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in original condition

  • Original tags, labels, invoices, and packaging are intact

2.2 Non-Eligible Returns

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The product is used, damaged, or altered

  • Original tags or packaging are missing

  • The product falls under non-returnable categories (if specified on the product page)

  • Return request is raised after the return window

If a return is declined, the product will be re-shipped to the customer and no refund will be issued.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product has been received and inspected by the seller or Decor House.

  • If the returned product fails quality checks, the refund will not be processed.

3.2 Refund Mode & Timeline

  • Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment used at the time of purchase.

  • Refunds typically take 7–10 business days after approval, depending on the payment provider or bank.

3.3 Partial or No Refund

Decor House reserves the right to issue:

  • Partial refunds for items returned in damaged or non-original condition

  • No refund for returns that do not meet eligibility criteria

Shipping charges, convenience fees, or COD charges (if applicable) are non-refundable, unless the cancellation is due to an error attributable to Decor House or the seller.

4. Replacement / Exchange

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.

  • If the requested replacement product is unavailable, a refund may be issued instead.

  • Exchange requests must follow the same eligibility conditions as returns.

5. Failed Delivery / Non-Acceptance

  • If a customer refuses delivery or fails to accept delivery after multiple attempts, the order may be marked as returned to origin (RTO).

  • In such cases, refunds (if any) will be processed after deducting applicable logistics and handling charges.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Product

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • You must notify Decor House within 48 hours of delivery

  • Supporting images/videos may be required for verification

  • Failure to report within the stipulated time may result in rejection of the request

7. Fraudulent or Excessive Returns

Decor House reserves the right to:

  • Block or suspend accounts with excessive returns or suspicious activity

  • Disable Cash on Delivery (COD) for such accounts

  • Decline refunds for orders flagged as fraudulent
